i mean no disrespect to any of you guys either.....what i am trying to say is that you don't know the full so don't just make stories up.....if you guys knew the real story then you would understand.....

every story has two sides to it, so you have heard 1 side of the story.....

i am new on the forum so i didn't know that we not supposed speak in that manner.... Im just being myself.

look i sell cars for a living and do well at it, how i talk on the forum has got nothing to do with how i talk to customers in person.....

each to their own:rollsmile:

Every story actually has 3 sides to it. Your side, my side and then the truth.

I'll admit, it's a pet hate of mine and is the reason why I commented. While the way you write on a forum might not reflect how you actually behave in person, writing as if you're on MXit basically makes you look like an idiot to anyone with a basic education who has not met you. It's not fair on yourself. :( :(

Further, given that the dealer you work for currently has a shaky reputation on this forum, you really aren't inspiring any further confidence in potential customers.

I am in no way suggesting that you are not a competent professional, but rather just trying to give you insight into the outward signals you are sending to what I guess are potential customers.

Once again, I mean the above in a respectful manner.

ok understandable but tell me something do you reagard this forum as a professional enviroment?or a social chat.....because it seems to me as you are taking me back to school (mono tonic tone).....

this is a site for us as individuals to express ourselfs to a certain extent..... and not to be someone you not....

we all are fanatics here and we all have different opinions.....this forum is for us to help 1 another and to find out things in which to we need answers to....

i love the brand and i am good at what i do.....no disrespect to you

Hi Nivz,

Firstly, thanks for writing properly - it really makes a huge difference. ;)

As I said initially, the context of the forum is casual. I am in no way suggesting you not be yourself. But expressing yourself and your personality, asking questions, making jokes, etc, is a completely different thing to writing poorly. Using poor spelling, abbreviated words etc is just a very crude way of expressing personality. I would struggle to believe it if you suggested that lazy writing is a part of 'who you are'.

The other thing is that aside from the implied context of this forum, by mentioning that fact that you are from a dealer, and offering test drives to members (which I assume you are hoping to make sales to, ether directly or indirectly) you automatically create a professional context surrounding yourself.

We are all fanatics here, and all love the brand, and there are plenty of guys around here who mess around and talk shit, and it's fun. All I am asking is that you give us the courtesy of language we don't need to decipher.

I'm sorry I made you feel like I was taking you back to school, but trust me on this, you'll be doing yourself the biggest favour in the world if you take my advice.

advice taken adi

i may have come across in a unethical tone, and for that i am sorry, but the thing is that just because i work for a dealer doesn;t mean i should be treated different from anyone, i work for the brand i do ont owe it, if i did then the discounts would be flying.....

i am here to help you guys and not here to fight with anyone, cut my hand and cut your hand you will see same colour blood, i believe that customer service is important but we as ambassador of the brand has rules and regulations that we have to follow, what was said about on the email was not entirely correct.....we are here to help our customers and give them the service and expertise that we offer.....

making jokes and talking shit is all in the fun of it.....but we as fanatics are here to help 1 another in the sense sticking together as BMW drivers and enthusiast.....

we are 1 of the best dealerships around in gauteng and i will not stand back and watch anyone dissrespect our dealership and the brand that i love....every problem has a solution (throught of the day)

thanks for the reply adi......i just want you to understand where i am coming from....:ty:

Thanks, I appreciate your reply. Also, my comment was really about how you represent yourself, not as much about the dealer. I just brought it up because it was relevant to my argument.

This is a community first and foremost. We joke, laugh, and cry together while helping each other with as much info as we can when we need it. One has to keep in mind that what we post is nothing more than text and as such we need to be sure people will understand what you mean when you do post which is why we tend to encourage the use of full words. :thumb:

Also just keep in mind the rules about advertising on the forum. I say this purely because we've had a few dealers, not necessarily BMW, come on the forum for the sole purpose of advertising which is not allowed.

Personally I think this is one the best community forums online today. You will love to be here as much we do. :thumb:

Nivz, I understand your need to defend your employer, but the sheer number of bad customer service experiences by members of this forum from your dealer are worrying. These are not 'made up stories', so you may want to tone that knee jerk reaction down a little.

Regarding the use of proper grammar and spelling, It takes nothing for you to comply with this. It may not be a rule per se, but it certainly lends to the impression you create on this forum amongst other users. In this day and age there is no excuse for 'mxit speak' on a mature forum such as this.

just my 2 cents

I don't think Nivz is here to represent the dealer where he works. I believe he's here as a fanatic and should be treated as such. At the end of the day he is just an employee doing his work the best he can with what is given to him to work with... pretty much as we all do.

Now let's move on to some more important things. We want detailed picks of said M135i as soon as it lands :):)

I just read that thread, I am disgusted in that dealership, the rude arrogance to even threaten the customer for a already broken windscreen on a loan car, after they did not even inspect it when he took it out.

I would have given them a lot of @$%#

I would not touch this dealership or Leo Haese Centurion with my enemy's stick.

I agree. Nivs cannot be held responsible for actions at the dealer outside his control.

Nivs - PICS! PLEASE!

hi wikki

undrstand your point of view but what you need to understand, listen very dealership out their has some loose ends and when i say loose ends i mean we are compelled by BMW SA and BMW germany what they say we have to fall, we can please very customer but we do our best to compensate with the client.....some things are out of our hand.....but we as dealers will do the best to make our customer happy but in the due respect that some things are out of our control.....i hope u understand i meant no dissrespect to you or anyone on the forum, i live, breathe, eat, sleep BMW, I spend 6 out 7 days in aweek at lyndhurst auto, this is my home, bad service happends everywhere but how you deal with it is what counts the most.....

i have had customers that said they will never buy from me again because of our dealership but up till today those customers have come back and bought from me again and again.....remember 1 thing you can buy a BMW but you cannot buy service, and thats why i do what i do best and i am successfull at it.....

thanks wikki for your reply :ty:

nic will post up pictures as soon as the vehicle is here, can't wait, can actually feel the vehicle boosting out of the factory.....super keen:rollsmile:
