Why do we always get everything last here in SA:cry: If this was available I would have already purchased it for my car

At the moment They achieving this by complete removal of the dme, and shipping it to the tuning company. Still waiting for port flashing to breakthrough.

Xcede can do the bench flash as well. Flash via the port will also be available soon. i am waiting in anticipation.

I didnt go the bench flash route. Waiting for the port flash.

The whole point of a flash is to adjust parameters and values that JB4 cannot directly control

It would defeat the purpose of throwing in JB4 on a flashed car. With a flash you have full control.

The nice thing of a bench flash is that the flash counter does not increase. You actually make a copy of the DME and tricore chip on the ECU. So when you want to go back to stock you just load the STOCK FILE back on the the ecu and its like its never been flashed.

The only issue with the MEVD17.x.x ecu is that it sits right under the intake manifold, so to remove it takes time and effort.

The only way the dealer will ever know if the ECU has been tampered with is to physically inspect it to see if its ever been opened. Obviously if they can see its been opened your MOTORPLAN will be bey bey...
