ohh and according to him, launch control on the 2014 model M135 auto is standard fitment...also doesn't need to have 2000km before its activated, he said its a bit complicated to explain over the phone on how to engage it, must pay him a visit and he will show me how to activate it..
He's wrong... 2 of our members both have a M135i auto. The 1 has LC and the other doesn't. The reason being is because the one has Sport+ and the other doesn't.
You need Sport+ to be able to LC
Look in the owners manual on iDrive. If it has "Launch Control" there you should have it. If not, unfortunately not from my experience. Not sure if it can be simply enabled by coding or in a software update on the early models or not like the new models.

Looks like this was only enabled for M135s produced from September 2013. There is no mention of launch control in my manual. Now to figure out if this can be coded
There's only 8AT available on those vehicles. :thumbs:
