Hi All

As some might know, I sold of my BMW Z4MC some years ago and have not been very active since then.

I went on to buy other cars since then; following the Z4MC and a broken heart I found myself in the following:

Hyundai i10 1.25 Fluid Auto :=): What an awesome car:
Golf 6 GTi
Golf 7 GTi Performance Pack
Golf 7 GTi Clubsport

And now I am back into a BMW F20 M135i

Along the way I also got my SO to Mod her 2002 Polo Playa from a 1.6i to a 2l 8v with 276 cam and some head work. which is now my daily :cartel:

I found the M135 on the Forum and honestly was not looking for one, I saw the photos and decided I would go and have a look :YesNo:

I was greeted by the awesome owner and we spoke more than we looked at the car :tiptoe:

The car was well looked after, he had it for all of 6 or so Months and was the second owner.

We had come to a deal and agreed that the car is mine :clapper:

The day I saw the car:

I don't have the greatest photos on my PC at the moment but will move some from my ohone soon and share with everyone :coolShake:

Thanks for looking :ty:

*You will see the mechanical changes under my Rave posts out to Tweek and Strada Performance :cartel:

Had an error regarding Photos so had to remove some...

After some time I felt I needed to add a little more custom touches so went with ///MPerformance Side Skirts (Decal), Wrapped front splitters and roof spoiler.

The paint work needs to be detailed next to remove swirls and other bad car wash damages but for this I will need a machine that I am currently shopping around for.

I have done the hand polish and wax which made the car white and more glassy but noting can hide the swirls as it is bad, especially in the sun. Breaks my heart when I look at her like this.

Soon she will be perfect...

Looking great! :clapper: How does the ZF8 compare to the DSG boxes in the Dubs?

The DSG Box on the Clubsport felt faster and also was in the right gears when needed, its down-change from higher gears are unmatched IMHO as it is so fast and puts the power down well. Could just be the way it brings in the torque.

The ZF8 is fast and smooth but fro normal driving the DSG is better to live with in terms of comfort.
In Sport the ZF is much more involving and offers that chug when changing that gives a manual feel, something the DSG can not match and this makes the Auto feel like a manual.
Its down-change is not as fast or direct as the DSG and torque does not find its way to the wheels as fast.

I would love the smooth operation of the DSG with its down-changing capabilities to be added to the ZF8 :praise:

Hope that made sense

I am happy with the current Mods for now.

Visually I would like to add ASC Springs
M Perf would sound amazing with he Strada DP but I plan on maybe doing a full exhaust with Strada which is a little cheaper and adds some power also

At the moment on Map5 I assume it is +-260wkw and mad Torque so no need for much more mods there except Meth :YesNo:

Thanks guys :praise:

Yes it is better than the Clubsport in so many ways.

It is much more Car IMHO when compared to a Golf.

Not taking anything away from the Clubsport, it is hands down the best GTi ever made and much more refined than the normal GTi and its counter parts including the new 7.5 GTi.
The F20 is just better built and much more solid on the road.
Yes, the Golf 7 is newer which shows in some aspects like the Gear Box and the Power Delivery but still does not match the robust build when compared to the BMW.

If i had to pick GTi\R over a M135\140 I would take the BMW with my eyes closed but if it was a GTi\R over a 118\120 then the VW gets the Win.

Hi All :smilebounce:

Been so busy on my end but wanted to do a quick update :hammerhead:

When I got the car, It had some damage around the wheel caps and the rims which had me wanting them fixed.
I did some reading and found that most people recommended Wheel Collision (X-RAY).
Car was booked in and all 4 wheels were worked on.
Their customer service is exceptional, as i am a difficult customer that wants things perfect, they had to do every rim 3 times to get it to my standards. With no complaints also which I found impressive.
Most people would have overlooked what I complained about also.

The car is currently at BMW to fit two front Tyre's and have road force balancing and alignment done.

She recently had a full Polish done by BMW ARC and is looking beautiful :blowheart:

I have not given her a good wash and have hardly used the car in the past month or so but some photos pre polish and pre Tyre's; the last time I gave her a wash:
