Apologies to all who love the I8 but the original BMW M1 styling is unbeatable!
The mix between Italian sports car and German solidness, the presence and the way it pleases the eye is a work of art!
If Audi, Merc and Jaguar can style today's sports cars so beautifully, why can't BMW do the same for the M1's successor? The 8 series and even the present 6 series is strikingly beautiful but the I8 is a disappointment imo!
The M1 name deserves something really magically styled to be loved as much as the old M1 was.

I guess up next it will be i3 vs M3, as it is not enough that these things are as ugly as sin, but now old proper BMW's need to be paraded around with these hideous abortions, I guess this is BMW's way of rubbing it in they they do not give a rat's ass about what the name BMW used to stand for.
