The cold start is there to warm up the CATS faster so if you go catless just get the cold start coded out since there is no point in cold starting at all anymore. I left mine on for personal preference only, the louder the better. Will be going straight out sometime this year, just looking for someone who needs the MPE.
Dude,
Straight pipe the car and keep your MPE please. I did mine and it was a great full system which was coupled from the DP also but damn, it got LOUD... I never set of alarms but with the straight pipe, it set of alarms at work, malls or any place that had slight enclosures.
But then comes the hum when cruising on the freeway. I eventually just kept the midpipe and fitted my backbox on again and the car was perfect.

You may prefer it but just keep the MPE until you 100% happy to keep the straight pipe

This... This was me. That drone. I drove to Polokwane. When I got there I decided f*CK it and put on a temp exhaust to come home so I can put on my stock box. Lol

What are you driving now?
F20 pwg M135i. I have dp and midpipe done by Rogue Performance, connected to the stock box. Still lekker but I yearn for the MPE sound note. Could do the back box mod but I'm in two minds about it

I had the backbox mod, that's why I still enjoyed mine... IMO it sounded better than the MPE and coupled with the midpipe and DP, it was near perfect. The mPE sounded a bit softer whereas the backbox mod was slightly louder with more bass to it and accentuated runoff. :)
