Been a while since I've posted but here goes.
Been wondering what you guys thought of the M Performance stripes in the e92 M3.
Yes, they aren't subtle!

A bit of a mish mash but would appreciate your views on stripes.... I like them

I like it... white is cool but a little colour didn't hurt anyone... + it makes it stand out from the crowd

Breaking away from the crowd of white... even though it's an M3... without the stripes it's just another white M3

Each person has there own preference, I prefer to blend in, rather than stand out.

As your car becomes identifiable, you draw attention to the cops and hijackers as the car becomes marked and easily identifiable. This is also why I hate personalized plates, and think they are daft. You loose all chance of being anonymous where you go and with smart phones being everywhere its so easy to snap a pic and share to social media...Spacebook, Tweeter, Instadamn etc. Its annoying when you see people sitting on your car and snapping pics like the car is theirs, makes my blood boil.

I think it is a bit over the top. These work if the car is a race car. If on an M3, everyone knows its an M, so the car becomes a bit loud or shouts at you.

i would prefer a full wrap in a different color or matte finish or just wrapping a few bits in the bumper, skirts and maybe rear bumper in black to accentuate a few lines a bit more.

It's not that bad I think, if you do do it, then do it like in your first picture, I would contemplate it if I had an M3, but be prepared for people to judge you
