Hi

So I've read a few posts about people saying if you spray your rims you will loose your m badge or clear coat over it etc etc.

Bmw actually sell these badges here is the part number: 36112228660

I have a feeling its the same for the steering wheel.

Just thought I'd share that.

I had mine powder coated and never lost the badge. Depends on who u using. If they to lazy to take the time to do it right.

Yeah so did I but I'm just saying letting people know the badges can be bought. I've even seen quite a few bmws with them missing

when I had m/sport rims I took them off before having them sprayed,when I got it back re-stuck them.didnt trust the guys doing it as they would've lost them

Forsdicks pinetown for m badges are R93.20 each no wonder the guys don't replace them :dizzy:

Yeah just peel them off carefully and stick them back on after with some glue.

Be careful when peeling them off as you may peel the M graphic off if you're not careful as its a thin film under the jelly like sticker/epoxy like substance.

Haha yeah they are expensive but I need one for my steering wheel. Will be getting it from the US most likely
