Wasn't that deep, nor going that fast; can't recal altogether but may have been travelling in second and as entered water I may have changed down. According to info that's when the wash in front of the bumper gets a chance to double back.
What I need now is someone who's Insuarance paid out as mine is saying: "No bodywork damage, no claim!". :banghead:
What gets me is that about 3 weeks prior that, when the N3 was flooded around Jhb I went the back route (via Benoni & the plots) to Heidelberg road and came across a stratch of about 50 odd metres of roadway covered in water and the cars weredriving thru slowly, which I also did and NO prob; now what looked like a puddle effs the car up!:dunno:

While KingB thats bullsh*t! My father in law had the same problem with his e46 318i and insurance wrote the car off and paid him out. I would contact the Ombudsman.
