Hi, if you are comprehensively insured you can claim for this from insurance. Excess is minimal.

I used a company called "car key fitment centre". Came out to me and charged 2500 for a spare key including coding etc, this was for a w204 c class. Would recommend them as their service was good. Merc wanted about 6k
