Looking for: E46 Xenon shrouds for the projectors!

I am looking for OEM projector shrouds for these E46 Xenon lights. For some reason I have two left feet, I mean, shrouds! :rollsmile: :fencelook:

This is not something that can be sourced from the agents, so the only chance of finding a set is from a pair of Xenon lights that are beyond repair and can only be stripped for spares, or if someone out that has my right side projector shroud along with another. :rollsmile:

I know about the generics, but I would like to retain the OEMness if possible, so if anyone has any of these lying around or knows where I can get, please let me know! I specifically need for the driver's side, basically I have two passenger side shrouds. Ideally I would like to get two new or clean ones since the ones I have both look a bit tired - that chrome coating is so delicate...

That's going to be a tough find. It seems strange you have the wrong side shroud on one headlight.

While you can use these they will not be ideal because LHD and RHD are different, that's if you're using entire projector and not just removing the shroud. A bit of a waste if you just need the shroud.

Philip are you sure the shrouds are wrong? The xenon logo should both face inward

OEM e46 projectors and shrouds are the same between left and right hand drive models.

No he is saying that the shrouds for both LHD and RHD Projector setups are the same.

He said projectors and shrouds. Meaning both projectors and projector shrouds are the same for LHD and RHD.

Thanks guys. Yep, just the actual shrouds, nothing wrong with the projectors, so in essence this is just a cosmetic issue really since the shroud is just there to cover the projector and finish off the look of the light. The problem is that the shroud on the left is indeed different to the one on the right, basically the Xenon text is supposed to be on the inner side (closest to the kidney grills) for both shrouds. In my case, they are both on the left half when looking at the shrouds. The clips are at a slight angle so they can only fit properly on the side they were intended to fit.

Assume you are referring to cutoff. On OEM* e46 projectors the cutoff is adjustable. So it can either be dipped on the left side or on the right side.

Well, had no luck yesterday. Either the places that I phoned don't know what I am talking about (no matter how well I try to explain), or they don't sell parts separately - they want to sell complete units instead. So at the moment I am pretty much stuck. I am going to try a few more possible places locally and some scrap yards in the hopes that they have some damaged lights lying around.

So if I am understanding this correctly, they can be adjusted to work on either left or right hand drive cars to work properly? Meaning that if one were to buy a set from somewhere in the US it is possible to adjust so that they work here?

Like I said it only applies to ones made by Automotive Lighting, not the ZKW ones, or the earlier Bosch ones for that matter.
