Goodluck Spy.

Hint, do not get air into your ABS Pump.... Where do you stay and what ABS pump do you have, I may have a bleeding procedure software for it...

naw, not to difficualt at all actually, though you were replacing fluid as well..

if its just pads, damm easy.

All you need to do, and this may not even be needed, is to hold the peddle down, and open the nipple just a bit to release some of the pressure, really not alot, 5ml just to release pressure, and once done, you can take your foot off the brake (or the wifes). But only do this if you battle to get the caliper loose.

Pretty much yep...

only thing is, technically your brake fluid should be changed once a year, thats when it gets a bit tricky, but rotors and pads is bolt on stuff and it is that easy, as long as you got a torque wrench and the 7mm allen key, your good

Don't you have the E46 Spy? Or have I been missing out on a recent shopping of yours?

Yes It is the 318I tourer August 2005 A/T. N46B20A engine, but seems alot of e90 bits. Dont worry I am as confused as a cameleon on a box of smarties.
I have gone shopping for bits and most of it comes up as e90. Guess I was lucky.

If i search I get some sites showing it as E90 and a nother one as E46. Guess they ran out of E46 parts and knowing the Germans didnt want to waste so they completed it with spare E90 Bits.

Like the engine should not be in there it same engine as

The N46B20 is a larger 2.0 L (1995 cc) engine.

Applications:

* 95 kW (127 hp) and 180 N·m (133 ft·lbf)
o E87 118i
o E90/E91 318i
* 105 kW (141 hp) and 200 N·m (148 ft·lbf)
o E46 318i/318Ci/318ti
* 110 kW (148 hp) and 200 N·m (148 ft·lbf)
o E46 318Ci
o E85 Z4 2.0i
o E87 120i
o E90/E91 320i
* 116 kW (156 hp) and 200 N·m (148 ft·lbf)
o E60 520i

BMW X3 (E83) 2.0 i 07/2005 - 150bhp 1995cc N46B20 N46B20A
BMW 3 Touring (E91) 320i 09/2005 - 150bhp 1995cc N46B20A

or they ran out of the numbers 20 and swapped them for 18?
Would be interesting if some one could ome up with definitife awnswer for me on what car I actually have.
Me thinks i got e46 body with e90 engine. LOl One can only hope. :)
