Long crank

Hi guys,

There seems to be a new issue with my car. It happened two or three times so far. Seems to do so only when cold...tried starting yesterday morning and had to crank for some time before it started. Usually starts first time. It back fired a few times and the revs seemed to be jumping around a bit..what could the problem be?

its an intermittent problem. This morning it was fine..but I will try disconnecting maf and then starting...

could it not be a sensor issue?

whats your mileage on? the fuel pump might also be an potential issue.

another thing I noticed is that it doesn't start when I turn the key but immediately after I stop turning it...very strange..

Ignoring the back firing and stuff i'd say ignition switch?
