:fencelook: Tell her the truth...dont let Khama get hold of your nutz

The problem with telling the truth is always met with the same response from her,"Is it now really necessary" and once I hear that then all resistance crumbles.

Dont't forget,
"We cant afford that Shit now"
"NO"
"Why?"
"Do we really need that now, we have other important things to worry about than crap"

Now days, I just say that's broken, needs to be fixed. :joy:

+1 had the same issue with my wife. she reacted similarly when i told her about the CF parts i wanted to put on the car. She said, "Leave it as is, its beautiful in its original state".

Flippen amateurs. There's a specific way to motivate for CF parts: You need to inform the wife that rising fuel prices are quite problematic. Expand the discussion to include sliding exchange rates and dollar based crude oil prices. Include the Middle East volatility, if you want. Then explain the impact of weight vs consumption. Now you've primed the conversation for "lighter parts" and gently, but eloquently mention how amazing this new CF compound is. Stress the fuel saving benefit again. Then finally mention the specific CF part that you will be adding to the car.

Bl00dy amateurs ... gotto teach your'll everything

That one eventually backfires on you when you go and buy your 10th BMW - apparently they always break :fencelook:

I guess its different for everyone, my wife knows about all mods all costs everything. In fact we discuss it as any other conversation. I will do things that I feel I want, obviously within reason and have no need to justify it as I don't take away anything from my family to pay for it. In other words, I can afford to do it...its all that matters , I think.
