Lights and windows stopped working

Took my E70 2012, 3.0D to sort out an oil leak and the battery was disconnected.

Now the headlights are permanently on and the flickers do not work. Windows do not open and there are some alerts on the idrive.
The mechanic tried resetting the and there is no change.

Today he found out from some one and says it could be the FRM module that is causing this.

Any advise or info on where I can get this issue resolved would be most appreciated as I am not able to use the car in this condition.

It does sound very much like a faulty FRM module.

They can be repaired by company's, i have had plenty fixed. BMW dealers only replaces them though.

Where are you based? Therefore one can point out the right place to go

I made contact with Danny2 from this forum that helped me with something in the past.
Danny got me going with 20mins today and all sorted out.
