So I decided to changed my angel eye bulb to led on my Z4M after modifying the casing and replacing the bulb I get the light bulb out error and my idicators stay on permanently when I turn my lights on.

Do you guys know how do I get rid of the error code and how do I fix the indicator issue?

Your current LED is a non canbus. You need to ask your supplier for the canbus version. It cancels the error code as the car now thinks your LED is a faulty bulb.

The indicator issue will be resolved once you get the correct bulb as the car is using them as temporary park lights because of the LED error.

one other thing Chef, can I use any brand of H7 xenon bulb for the high beam or do I have to use that OEM bi-xenon Phillips bulb?

Technically you can use any brand, but don't expect the life span to be the same as OEM

The correct bulb will have to be 10w 12v otherwise the error code will most probably stay, going above 10w can also fry some stuff.

Please let me know which ones you source that works properly.

Good luck!

Sorry for the late reply so the soloution for the error codes were load resistors that I got from Violet electronics in Roodepoort, very easy to install didnt even have to splice any wiring.

I used 10w LEDS with 6 LED chips for the angel eye rings they now emit a nice blue colour but its not as bright as I would have liked .

Will upload some pics soon...
