Light bulb sign on e46

Hi guys,

Some days when I start my car, the small "car" with the left light bulb appears telling me that there is a problem with my headlight right... so I then switch my lights on and see that the light is working perfectly.

Does this mean the light bulb needs to be replaced cause it is busy dying or should I just check the connection wires?

The small globe inside the headlight is messing around.
Replace it.
