I feel.. that you're right, the M3 may have been a coupe, but the 3 series as a whole has the image of a sedan, that's their market. So yes, the m3 was a coupe, but the 3 series "was a sedan". It's easier to rebrand ONE model, than an entire model range to 4, just to keep the one model of M3.
I think as well, that you're in saying that the M4 IS the latest variant of the M3 coupe and should always be looked at as that and as an old model with a fine history. I'm happy that our model can become more aggressive - less modding needed etc because they are very aggressive looking, and would look so amazing with mods
And the M3 going forward, should be looked at as the new guy on the block, hoping to see something exciting!
Nice that our model could be upgraded and be more aggressive like it deserves to be, and that we can have a "laid back' model too :rollsmile:
On a side note, 4 Series for 4 door cars would have made sense.. haha.
and the m3 bad will go down in history.. perhaps m3 inspired visual mods to m4 with an m3 sidebadge somewhere :rollsmile:
