Left side mirror "dropping"

Hi guys!
My left side mirror drops when I put it in reverse...this is annoying as it then shows me the middle of the car on the ground. Sure this is to avoid running over a curb, but for me it is mostly annoying.
Is there a way to turn it off? Mbouwer's 540i does not do this, so it should be a easy fix...right?

yes, flick the mirror switch to the other side.
now when u put in reverse, the mirror will not drop.

now when u put in reverse, the mirror will not drop.

That is the mirror switch where you select the one you want to adjust? On the drivers side.

You can also turn it on and off while you are reversing, so if you want to check if you are going to hit the pavement or not. This is quite a nice feature, I use it often

ye lol, I use mine every time almost... one of the best features lol ...

tell mbouwer to move his switch, his car is supposed to do it.
