Never had a problem with these, the only time they might flash is once the ignition is turned on, for about 2 seconds only....

The flashing can be coded out. Why don't you get a light package together for different models e46 e90 etc. With all the interior lights etc

I replaced the globes of my number plate lights for LED ones and also had the flashing issue. I did this a year ago and the lights are still going strong.

You need not worry about flashing.
