Lead is absorbed into blood and kidneys then battle to get it out , it may be 5 parts per million normally and up to 100 in automotive battery manufacturing plants . Lead plates are cast from ingots smelted at 400 degrees ( airborne fumes ) and lead paste on the plates (skin contact ) are bad news .

Depends on the caliber LOL
