So how is compared to the 5 speed 540i??

Well to be perfectly honest it feels crap slow in comparison.........

.......buuuuuut......

Things to take into consideration, 3.15 diff on the 5 speed and it has a different exhaust, not brilliant but definitely flows better than stock. The 6 speed is also in desperate need of a service as the oil really thick and sticky. Then there is also the fact that the engine in the 5 speed just runs really strong for whatever reason.
The engine in the 6 speed might also be pretty carboned up as it did start to feel better after a bit of spirited driving.
(was driven by a old guy before)
All in all you can feel that it has a certain tenacity to it, but there are no real shoving you into your seat fireworks, but will see what it is like after a good service.
