Hi Guys
This weekend I had the pleasure of detailing this beast
The car was full of swirls RIDS and was in a sad state for a car with only 13000km on the clock
Anyway I had my work cut out. The entire front end had been VPS'd and looks pretty nasty however I couldn't do much to fix it up.
The car was corrected using the Rupes Bigfoot, Menzerna Polish and chemical Guys Hexlogic pads and a few Lake country pads
The thickness of the paint was a big problem it ranged from 50-107 Microns
The lowest reading was 49 Micron .. I think MB went for weight reduction in the wrong place here
I was very surprised at how soft the paint was. I was expecting it to be alot harder
Before Pics
Some snow to match the rubbish weather I had to deal with on Saturday morning
Now for the nasty bits
A very bad attempt at a 50/50
The left hand side had been corrected the right hand side was untouched
Now for the entire door:thumbs:
Another before and after shot
After
Before
Final result
