I've seen the video of the Laferrari beating a veyron.
How far true is this?
Was the veyron holding back?

The LaFerrari is is much lighter than the Veyron and coupled with the electric engine gets off the mark quicker. It then holds the gap.

The VMax Evomax event, they both ran 207mph, so in that particular stretch the Veyron was never going to catch and pass. They did a rolling too, but its a different type of rolling start, and the LaFerrari was slightly ahead as they gunned it and held the gap to the end. On a roll they are very similarly matched but I think they Veyron will go clear on a very long stretch.

Remember this is not the Veyron Vitesse with 1200hp. That would be a bit faster. The Agera R absolutely annihilates both of them on a roll but struggles to get going from a standstill.
