Key Remote

Howzat Guys,

So recently I started having this issue where sometimes I can open the car with the remote on the key and sometimes I had to open the car manually, now she doesnt want to open with the remote at all....

Any 1 had the similar issue? does it need to be programmed again?

Possibly or the battery is up to crap.

Programming the key is DIY but you need to find out why it is loosing config. Generally if the battery is not getting charged on the remote, this happens.
Have you tried your spare key?

Has the spare key been lying unused for a while? If yes, try using it for a few days and see what happens as the battery gets charged only while on the ignition.

However, rechargeable batteries eventually die and need replacing.

Aww so the previous owner was right, it does charge itself. Problem with the spare that I have is, it opens the car and puts the ignition onn and stuff but doesnt start it? so yip, guess it has been standing along time. Can I change the battery myself?

Looks like you have programming issues. Do you have the wallet/plastic key?

Nope, both keys look the same. I am picking up the plastic key this weekend
