I'm loving every moment with the X, it's a bullet of the line and it's refined at cruising speeds, really a good mixture of SUV ability with sportiness space and comfort.

It's a shlep to keep clean but it's rewarding when it is. :inlove:

So more about the cars features

BI Xenons - brights and dims are from the same projector, really great lighting.

M SPORTS - different front and rear bumper with widened arches and 20" rims

Sat nav wide screen - this includes a 12gig on board hard drive for music and latest maps with 3d viewing and Google Earth imaging, OBC and I drive

Space saver spare wheel - self explanatory

Gearbox - 8 speed auto :bravo: raise: a pleasure to

Motor - single turbo 3L :inlove:

Stereo - a full Rockford Fosgate install :joy:

Is it normal to just sit and stare at ones car?? I quite like to just have it near me, keys stay with me, no one should park near it, you scratch it I kill you etc etc

Does he have the face-lift with the 8speed box?
To me I'm finding almost no lag at all, a very big improvement over the previous face lift. In fact a good friend who owns a E53 X5 drove mine a few weeks ago and immediately said that there's no lag.
Immediate throttle response is what u get.

The 35d is a pre facelift which was replaced with the 40d, so six speed box!
