Evolution 2 in Kyalami once quoted me the retail BMW price for parts plus 12% and, as I recall it, their labour rate was not far off that charged by BMW. I believe they do good work, but don't expect to come away with any change in the kitty

If the ticking sound is coming from the engine on idle ,Could be the tappets knocking !

Getting there guys, baby steps lol! Just put in new vanos seals. Power seems to have increased abit. But there is still a slight oil leak just below the oil cap if you put you fingers underneath the m power cover.

Also theres an annoying whining sound while driving that comes from the vent, the stronger the wind the louder it gets :argh: This only happens when driving fast or if the wind is heavy.

Other than that everything is sorted :thumbs:

Oh and the ticking sound is not very loud anymore... Buts is still there.

A buddy of mine did it for me. We just did the O rings. We will do the seals itself this weekend.
