turbo cams and supercharger cams are completely different so no point in comparing the two...
with a turbo you have compressed air going in as well as a restriction on the exhaust...
with an SC you get plenty air going in but the exhaust and exhaust valves became the restriction if you fit an exhaust cam that can flow more with a well flowing exhaust then the flow increases drastically though the engine...
what this does is drop boost pressure because the engine is flowing more what you can do then is up the boost again to the same level you had before...
the net result is you flowing way more air than before without any added detonation problems this is a very effective way to make more power on an SC application...
on a turbo car turbo sizing is way more important than cams because thats where the restriction in flow is... there are as always exceptions to the rule though
