Thanks for the nice comments guys,:=):

Man nothing makes you feel more bad-ass than cruzing this dropped vert around on a nice day!

Alas it’s time to start working on the to-do list... As mentioned before this girl's still got a few problems need sorting... I’ll start off with a few items that are probably most important...

- Clutch: I recon it will need replacing soon... you will never know under normal driving situations, but on one or two occasions it was absolutely "essential" to pull away rather "briskly" from the lights...:fencelook: The clutch continues slipping a little bit after the pedal has been totally released... still does not break free once properly in gear though...

-Roof: The roof does not go down 100% each and every time. sometimes it needs bit of a manual tuck here and there to help it on its way, doesn’t seem major though as it goes up with no problem at all, and all the motors work 100%. This is of course something I would like to have in completely flawless operating condition.

- Windscreen wiper: They work 100's but yesterday I accidently activated them, and the little plastic bush keeping the arm and the wiper blade together cracked. Must be old age and the sun. Luckily we've had good weather, but if I were to get stuck in a monsoon anytime soon, it would be very bad for me...

- Climate control unit: It seems to come on when it feels like it. Don’t know if it could be some kind of ignition sensor that needs replacing, but when it does work it works perfectly.

- Also I need someone to fit my bumpers’ mesh and fit my numberplate... Sounds like a very simple thing to do, but I arrived in Cape Town with virtually the clothes on my back... I have no tools or space to work, so every little problem has to be fixed by a fitment centre or a mechanic...:nonono:

As I am very new to Cape Town, I would really like for the fanatics to steer me in the right direction with all these problems on my car and to help me get her ship shape, at the best price of course...

Thanks in advance guys! I know I can’t go wrong if I come here for advice!

Keep us up to date as you progress along.

Thanks Abmi,

Will do... I guess for now the windscreen wiper clip is quite important, as im real scared it will rain soon... is this something a place like a midas will stock, or should i go to SMG to get it? are they sold seperately?

Yep its the full factory M kit except for the mirrors. I plan on changing the mirrors soon though. They hard to come by at a good price.

Bosch Wipers. Most spares stores should stock them.

The climate control issue can be sorted quite easily, not sure if you a diy'er but theirs is link to repair it yourself or I can do it for you, seeing we're fanatic members, I have repaired my unit myself, where are you located?

Hey man, I stay in the platekloof area. Wow, would never have guessed it is a DIY fix! Have you had the same symptoms with your unit? I can do things, but hardly have any tools. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Depending on when last they were changed, I would just get new ones. Rainy season in CT during winter, you're gonna appreciate fresh wipers
