JBD for 330d

Hello all fanatics,

I would like to hear your opinion about the JBD chip on a 330d E90. I checked on Burgertuning's web site that the JBD is only for the 335d and as we all know 335d is not available in SA. So I mailed the guys and asked if the chip will work on the 330d and this was his response.

"Hi,

We have not tested it with your 330D but I think it's compatible. Give
it a shot and worst case we'll take it back. "

So now I would like to know will you take the risk to order this and might not work or are there other plug and play chip's out there that will work. I don't want to do remap now because car is still under maintenance and warranty so don't want to void it. I heard that the guys at Kaufner has a chips that works on the 330d.

335d is twin turbo... I simply cannot see how this is going to work. Could end up costing a hell of a lot more than anticipated.

Besides that, what's the problem with all the brilliant tuners we have locally??

So im assuming it would also work on the X6 35d??

There is nothing wrong with the tunners we have locally, I just don't want to remap at this stage because I am afraid of losing warranty and maintenance. The plan is to get it remapped after warranty expires.

Hello Guys,

Just to bring you all up to speed if you are interested. We will be testing the JBD on my 330d soon. I will update this thread on how things are going when I receive it. Twinz and Renzport have been very helpful to find out if it will work and so far things are looking good. Will also post some pic's after install.
