JB4 Stage 2 draining battery.

Hi, can any one tell me if they had this before, my jb4 i think drained my battery.

Drained as in the battery is dead or the OBC is complaining about low charge?

I know there was a false battery discharge error on one of the previous Firmware releases but that had been subsequently fixed.

It did not actually drain the battery though. If its just the error you getting and not actually a dead battery, update to the latest Firmware. If its an actual battery drain, i would suspect a short somewhere and it actually may not be the JB.

One of buddies had the same issue with battery drain. When the ignition was off after a while like 5mins or so the waterpump would come on all by itself which then caused the battery to run down. Normally you would just lock your car and walk inside and neva notice the pump coming on

Lock your car and wait maybe yours does the same. Funny enough it js went away on its own

I recall PrevanP having a similar issue, his JB was connected incorrectly, I can't remember the exact details, I'm sure he'll comment here

What vehicle ? and which firmware are you using ?

I take it you have an N55 2010 and you running a harness A type JB?
Most likely you need the waterpump fix.
Basically entails drawing power off the boost solenoid as oppose to the 50AMP fuse.
Where are you based?
