Good evening gents,

Not sure how to attach the csv file!

I need some assistance reading my log. I went on the ice cream run last weekend and put in 10 litres of ethanol with 30 litres of pump fuel. Everything seemed fine from BP N1 north until about before the Rivonia road offramp where the car went into Map 4 from Map 5 (Saw the change on the mobile app). The JB4 has never switched to the safety map before while on Map 5 on pump fuel. I thought maybe I mixed too much ethanol (E95). I was under the impression that a 30% mix was on the conservative side. So I assumed the 25% mix I used was still fine. Please correct me if I am completely wrong here, I don't want to cause any damage to my car!

From what I've read and what I am trying to understand...I think that my trims are too high and that the LPFP values look odd. From what I've read on N54tech, my trims are sitting at 49 to 51 for far too long through the rev range. The FP_L should be reading 55-70. I am looking at values that are 172.

I understand that this maybe just that I am using the older G4 so it may not be the correct values that I am reading. I've read my logs using the JB4 mobile app and bluetooth rev kit 3.

If anyone can give me some insight I would really appreciate it.

Step 1... Throw the g4 away and get a iso G5.. Revert back with a log after that...

+1

Get yourself the G5 like Kish2604 says. The G4 is now obsolete and any firmware available for the G4 is ancient.

If your trims are also maxing out from what you have seen, you may want to considered running a back end flash. but first start with upgrading your JB unit to a G5

Gents, thanks for the feedback. So the logs from the G4 are going to be useless?

I didn't really want to upgrade to the G5, didn't see a need while I was getting the quoted power gains. I see the G5 upgrade board is 175$. Will see how much it works out to get here, in the mean time I will try and figure this out

Get a G5, set it up properly and see a few kw being realized... Your also missing out on all the current developments as well as rolling antilag etc...
