JB4 Firmware 31.8 updated on N54

Hi All

Over the weekend i updated to the new JB4 firmware. Car is boosting strong, had a slight oscillation which is gone.

Also something strange happened late Sunday night. One my way home while accelerating as the boost got close to midway on the oil temp gauge, i heard the forge DV's dump, boost dropped and then came back in. The User adjustment setting are on the default settings.

Is the spring wearing out (blue spring used).

Just make sure the CP and the DVs are properly tightened.

The most important mod is not on your list: JB4 MHD Backend flash. Read my thread here: http://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=67674

Hex 31:8 was all designed to optimize the various (JB4 backend flashes). The JB4 does not perform well without the backend flash.

My next mod is to add in the pump flash, my only concern is that the pump flash tunes available online are for the US DME's and not for our cars.

Does anyone have a pump flash tune for SA N54's

The BMS MHD flashes are universal...and work perfectly on SA cars. If you want to "customize" the BMS MHD pump flash to your specific VIN then you can drop Rennzport an email.

The BMS MHD e85 flashes are now all "eurorised" if that is what you referring to.
