having owned a N55 as well as a N54 and having used all JB products i thought i give an in depth review of there products.
JB4 N55 -Stage 2
Car felt different from day 1. Throttle response was sharper, little to none Turbo lag. However after installing the JB i truly felt the car had more potential. Subsequent to the JB, i installed the DP. The emense torque that i got was something truly incredible. The sound was gret and the peddle was so light. Just a touch of the peddle and you were already past the speed limit. The most important thing about my JB at the time was
Most of all was my ability to log and see exactly how my car was performing and how it reacted to the different settings. I felt as if i was one with the car.
Once i got more confidance in the product i started exploring different mods. Next on the list was Meth. Boy oh Boy, does that thing pack a punch.
I used the BMS WW kit. Simple install and versitility allowed me to remove it so easily without a trace. Great product with exceptional gains in the power curve.
With that mod came the charge pipe as well.
A point to take note is that all the products are so easy to install. No experiance requireed. Once your confidance increases you will try and attempt more difficult assignments. But truth be told you do have one of the best support systems in the country i.e Renzzport.
That was my journey on the N55 platform. Very short period. I wish i had a little more time with her but than...............
I indulged in the world of the N54
First jb4. initially i had high expectations with the N55 experiance but than N54 just takes it to the next level. If boundries are been pushed than surely the JB4 ISO N54 has pusehed it far beyond its years. Back this baby up with a backend flash and you have a powerhouse. Its like having the stamina of Bruce lee, the will power of Rocky & the punch of mohammed alli.
Light poles no longer become a denomination to value the distance you leave your competitor.
Truly ISO is the future in tuning technology.
I than installed a chargepipe with meth to bring everything together. From there onwards i never looked back at any of the products.
A must have for any X35i esp N54 is the oil catch can. What a simple and yet inexpensive mod that will result in you getting more millage out of your engine and keeping it healthy.
There are many add on products to the range that just intensifys your drive.
The latest to my list will be a 2Step/NLS system. Imagine having a manual box but have the ability to change like a DCT. ALWAYS IN BOOST. LAUNCH CONTROL on a manual. Dammit that just brings a huge smile to my face.
If there is one complaint i can think of, which is very difficult, i would honestly like to have stayed in the states so when new stuff/firmware comes out i can be a tester from the word go. Yes a lab rat.
Depending on your mods your power can range from a mere 80hp to a whoping 160hp.
It has been documented that FBO can rech a stagering 600hp on stock turbos. thats nos and the whole thing.

From my humble 135 to my modest 1M i can truly say that as a JB user my driving experiance just got a whole lot better. This is the way my car should have come from the factory.
I got a spare JB4 should you want to test it on your N54, than you tell me if any sentance in this thread is misleading.
If there are any other JB users on the forum who would like to share there experiances using any of the products please feel free to but in/Jack the thread. Just let it out guys.

- User friendly interface
- Ability to explore different maps on the fly
- i trully liked been able to play around with the settings, i felt like a tuner in my own way
