Congrats on the future classic..
That 7G tronic was a pain.. The delayed acceleration and turbo lag was an irritation.. Sold parent's C350 CDI, and got them into F10 530d and they are at their happiest..

Update 1:
Unfortunately, the rep at Mercedes ordered the incorrect pads which resulted in a 2 week delay to get the parts. I had the disks replaced in the interim as they were in dire need of replacing and got the old pads cleaned up and put back on. In the 2 weeks of waiting, the new disks developed a lip around them and I wasn't too happy about that. I knew it would happen but I had no other option at the time.
Lesson learnt - If you're changing your disks, change the pads too!
Shortly after taking ownership, I started tackling the issues that needed to be addressed. First up was front brakes. Parts were sourced from Mercedes Benz and fitted by Ferobrake East London.
Parts replaced:
- OEM Front Disks
- OEM Front Pads
- OEM Brake Sensor (surprisingly, there is only one sensor per pair of pads)

Update 2:
Next up was the recurring low tyre pressure warning light. Took the car to Tiger Wheel & Tyre, Berea, East London to get it checked out. They informed me that the front left tyre was incorrectly fitted, so they took the wheel off and installed the tyre correctly and sent me on my way.
A few days later, the light came back on. I checked the tyre pressure and it was low. So I pumped it up and drove around for a bit. The car was fine for a day or so until I started noticing that something was very wrong. The ride was bumpy and unstable. Took the car straight back to Tiger Wheel and Tyre to get it checked out and this is what we found...
The front left tyre was completely shot! This was extremely concerning as they were brand new Falken tires. The gents at TWT suggested that I send the rim in for testing as they had been refurbished in the past. The results came back and as expected they were slightly undercut however it wasn't causing the tyre to leak.
As replacements for the front two tyres, I decided to go with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's. Sourced them from Alpha Tyres & 4x4 and got them fitted by TWT.
I've been monitoring the tyre pressure since fitting the new front tyres and all seems well. But I think the rim situation will need to be addressed. Any advice regarding this from your guys experience? Send the rims in to someone experienced or get a new set one time?

The car threw an add engine oil warning. Bought 5L of Castrol Edge 5W-40 from Midas and topped it up. A week or so later, the engine light came on and I took the car straight to EL Vehicle Diagnostics and Repairs to get the code read. Came back that the thermostat needed replacing so I ordered a new one from Mercedes Benz and got it installed together with a coolant flush by EL Vehicle Diagnostics and Repairs.

It's very likely that I did drive around with a low tyre for quite a bit and that the rim is the cause.
The issue I'm having is, if the rim is undercut, can it still be repaired?

Picked up a few issues here and there and decided to get the car fully inspected and sorted out at a specialist. Got RaceSA Trucking to transport the car to Johannesburg from East London. The vehicle is currently at SG Autoworx getting a whole host of issues resolved.
Getting a few modifications done while it's there but more on that later!

By 'undercut' I assume that means the rim has been faced during a prior repair?
If too much material has been removed, I'd think you'd be hard-pressed to correct that in a safe way considering the calibre of car the rim is attached to.
Best to check with a rim repair shop me thinks.
