All I can say is, it takes a hell of a lot of krag to be able to pull the M3. What does it weigh?? 2 tons?? he he he he

Agreed. Once hitched a trailer behind the corolla and dumped a ton of sand on it for a little backyard paving job. Poor thing... the tow hook was rated at 1.4 tons and I have a EB license which means all was legal, but there is this one traffic light on the R44 that is rather short-timed and has a camera... took some careful timing to get through that one

For reference, the olde Corolla was a 1.6 with the 4A-FE engine (79Kw). The golf 1.4i is 62KW or something thereabouts if I recall, so I agree, it probably took some doing to get up to speed.

Looks too clean to be towed like that. But normally when cars are stolen the plates are taken off.
Then again, not all people care about how they transport their cars.
