Is the M3 fast? Owner review - add yrs 4 any car

I've had my e92 M3 for just over 2 years now and ,well compared to turbocharged cars it's not that fast at all.....
.....Nor is it , get you into jail or 6 feet under fast.

Its different, I can tell you that much.
Turbo'd cars offer more torque low down, so I don't think the M3 is that quick in the grand scheme of things .
What you do have is a German engineered V8 experience and the drive/handling which I enjoy the most,it's just the package as a whole which wins it for me..... Oh and driving with the windows open and listenenjng to that grunt.

Things to be aware of:
Regular servicing- don't miss those service interval especially after MP has ended
Nasty Actuator issue at 60k kms
Good quality tyres

If you want a driving experience that will make you smile everyday....buy an //M.

I myself drive a car with a turbo charger and I can tell you one thing...
Every time I pull up next to an M I feel like killing myself. The status alone of that car is insane. Yes it may not be the quickest quarter mile car but its in a league of its own. As for turbo charged cars, well I personally love the sound of a naturally aspirated straight six or v8 roaring along and would trade my car in any day for that.
