Is the f80 robust

Hi fanatics
Not sure if this has been asked before? Apologies if it has been covered.
Like the title states - just how robust is the new gen m3/m4. I am not and engineer or technician. I know we covered under plan but if i decide to keep the car longer and with all the turbo technology, do u guys think it will stand up to age.
Also is there any driving styles I should adapt to. I never drive over 4K rpm till the engine is fully warmed up.

Another question is the DCT box. Does it make a difference in the different settings as far as reliability is concerned. Example if I like driving in s3 mode most times, does that mode put more strain on the box or diff then d2?

car is still fairly new for any issues to show ..
met a guy with +80 000 km & to date no issues ..
I'm on my 3rd F80 all sold with low mil +- 10-20 000 km - no issues ..
using S3 daily is harsh changes & will most proberly shorten life ..

The only major issue I'm aware of with the S55 is the tendency to spin the crank when modded fairly aggressively. Other than that reports are that the car is pretty bulletproof, but only time will prove or disprove that.

That crank spin has happened in stock cars to.
Just sold mine f80 28k no issues at all at least 10 track days only things replaced pads and tires and mine wasn't stock for most of the 18 months.
Only reason for selling was hanging in for a GTS
