Is Meiringspoort still closed?

Guys, need to travel from Upington in the Northern Cape to Mosselbay via Meiringspoort. Any one know if it is still closed? It is about a 200km detour if i have to take another route if i cannot go through the Poort.

What happened there?

Btw, one of the most beautiful places I have travelled. Though it was alone at 3 in the morning with the windows open on a full moon night.

Meiringspoort is stunning!! Really beautiful!

Apparently it was closed due to flooding, not sure if it's been reopened

I used Meiringspoort the 12th of Jan and it was open. Some places there is only one lane open but it went smoothly
