Ipod Connection

HI guys

Does anyone know if it is possible to fit an Ipod connection on a e46 330ci??

According to the BMW website, it can be done on any e46 except the 330ci and M3 models.

If you have the business radio, there is an aftermarket part that you can have installed ( I had mine done on my 320i ) - The place that did it was Sandton Sound, though they've since moved.. Or closed..

Phone car audio shops and ask if they can do an E46 iPod install, it's a fairly common thing. They took two days to get the part before I could get it installed.

It has full track metadata reading, so you can see what song is playing, control it from the steering wheel and all, change playlists, and even search by artist.

It also has a mode that lets you use the iPod to control the sound instead of using the car's built in interface.

Sandton Audio is on oxford road, just behind the total garage, by Ilovo...near Thrupps.
As you come up Rivonia towards rosebank, it becomes oxford, you will spot the total garage on ur left, take the split just before it, will be on ur right behind total.
They looked quite professional there.

I heard that Sandton Sound moved but managed to get hold of them...Its R2 500 for a complete Ipod install for BMW business deck.....

I've got the Ipod interface cable in my e46, they had to disconnect the shuttle in order to connect the adapter

Works well as the shuttle only plays audio cd's.

It can be done at the audio fitment centre at vodaworld (Midrand)

Did the new spec e46 come with a Mp3 player?

Mine is an 05 model and doubt its an mp3 player....Well my front loader doesnt want to play any disks.....So i can only use the shuttle....
