iPhone 6 and f30 pairing

Hi, I am unable to play music via Bluetooth from my phone to my 2015 f30 320i am performance.

Any fixes? Doesn't work via usb to my phone either.

Should work without issues, unless you don't have the extended Bluetooth. Do you have the plug for the phone media adapter in the centre console?

On my iPhone or car? iPhone is updated and car only received yday so still checking it out

Had the same issue with my samsung galaxy. Software update by the dealer sorted this out. Also when you pair the phone to the car via bluetooth the car will give you an option to select what features you want available on your car from the phone.. phonebook, music, messages, etc....

Also try downloading an app called BMW Wireless. will allow you to stream music via bluetooth to your car.

Inside the box where the USB plug is should be a removable plastic plate, underneath it will be a couple holes that is made for a adapter plate that you would plug a media adapter it for your phone. You do not need the adapter to Bluetooth music though. Its used for charging and boosting the phone signal and if you have navigation included with the idrive the car uses the phones simcard for other additional stuff

You need the extended Bluetooth package in order to stream music via bluetooth

Try an update though, always nice to be on the latest version. I think the url is www.bmw.com/update then you put in your vin and it gives to what the latest version is, you can view what version you're on in idrive, I think under vehicle settings. If there's a later one out download it and copy to a flash drive, plug it into the car and go to software update in idrive.
