I was asked for just one small picture so that's exactly what I gave :tease:

No no no no. You must understand how the male petrolhead mind works on these matters.

When they (we) ask for "pics", the actual meaning is for "many" (i.e more than one - most can't actually count very well, but they (we) know the difference between "one" and "many").

And they (we) also know the difference between small pisswilly pics, and stonking large pics. When they (we) ask for "pics" we actually mean "many stocking large" pics.

PS: The term "petrolhead" also include "dieselheads", but diesel cars (oilburners and road tarrers), are only included because we don't want to hurt their feelings.:fencelook:

Lauren, what you need to do is open a thread specifically dedicated to your car, most of us do, here is the link to mine: http://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=8518

Now the idea is, as you go on, you update the forum, on mechanical issues, a drive you took, something that might have happened to you while driving, anything related to the car. :thumb:

Gees! I turn my back for a few hours!

Awesome car Lauren!

Yep, manual FTW! These cars do eat fuel a bit when moving slowly or not at all, so the idea is to keep going at a decent pace, then these things sip fuel very lightly! When I'm not driving the nuts off my car I make good use of the econometer to see how I am using fuel and how best to safe where I can - it's amazing how different driving styles can affect overall fuel consumption. But, in reality we are only talking a small amount most of the time, so lately I have been trying to ignore this as much as possible.

Also glad you have not been scared off by these nutty squirrels and our joking around! :fencelook:

Sh!t I'm off the forum for a couple of days and we at 15 pages allready.

@LaurenL you should have joined ages ago. I would seem that this is the type of therapy we were looking for to help Coisman forget about his ex.

Now he's wetting his bed a different way. :fencelook:

Anycase driving faster always helps with consumption, when you drive faster you can free wheel further when you run out of fuel.

ps glad to finally see a pic of the car atleast. Looks to be in good condition except for the fender.

Hi
I'm Dave from Durban, proud owner of a BMW 540i.
Just love this website, a place where fellow BMW owners can come together to share the experiences and hopefully get together.
