Hi Guys,
Found the forum as I needed to work something out on my e36 323i. Great forum with excellent topics covering issues - issue sorted!
Briefly....my stepdad bought the car when he retired in '97. Been religiously maintained and is like new. Only done 150k, and runs like a dream. Bought it off his estate (my mum), drove it down from East London to Cape Town in 10.5 hours in the worst weather imaginable.
Am the MD of a SaaS eCommerce Vendor platform, but love older cars. I've had a few older Mercs and this is my 3rd BMW. 1st was an '86 525e (89), 2nd was an 03 316i (03).
Did around 200,000 miles touring Europe on BMW bikes before moving to SA in '06.
Now based West Beach, Blouberg. Keep an eye out for the EC reg 323i.
Hope to meet some of the local members soon.
