@320 ice...thx for the feedback...appreciate the encouragement. I remember the beemerz well, my younger brother & brother inlaw hooked up with you guys at one stage...i was living in the highveld at that time...the Club had some of the most beautiful e30 325s and the rare convertible as well....
Your Club has a very popular and well known history, has anyone written up your story yet? Perhaps a newspaper article of those days? Is the Club still around? Do you have any pic that we could upload here on the forum???

Glad to hear that Freerider, Rowen should be able to tell you all about it. We were a bunch of hooligans. Not for the fainthearted, LOL.
@ Dreamer, we sure had some awesum cars in the Club, which was one of the problems that BMW SA and AG had a problem with. They did not want any Customised cars e.g. airbrushing etc to be part of the club as they felt it would bring the club and therefore the brand into disrepute.
We decided to go it alone and as a result had the fastest growing Car club in the Western Cape at one stage. Good days those were, but at times we did take it a bit too far but I can say with certainty that none of the guys regrets a single moment of that.
I need to go and scratch out all the old pictures but here is one we took at a Technical day we had at Reynolds.
Unfortunately I live in Jo'burg now so meeting won't be possible. But next time i'm in Cape Town and you guys have an event i will definetly come and say HI.
PS: The club is unfortunately no more. Hope i don't get into trouble for saying this but i think Exclusively ///M was born from this club. They just took it to the next level, which is why there are still a few ex Beemerz members that are a part of Exclusive. And they have done some great work in bringing together the ///M chapter in the Western ape and having them with you will just establish what you are doing that much faster, so all i'm saying is BRING THOSE BOYS IN WITH YOU, sooner rather than later.

You are very welcome to join. I think we will run a thread in due course asking forum members to share ideas for the first big event to have fun but also to attract new members. :thumbsup:

Well done happy for u guyz:thumbsup:, is there no BMW intown to take on the 200SX, the so called BMW fanatics lets meet up, App Van Boom and the sx is running on Sat, the silver M5 of Aziz is coming too, where are the other "so called fast beemers" hiding away, i didnt, so come show wot u guyz can do,Uwaiz and silversurfer or u guys gona chicken out,

This thread was meant as an introduction to the newly formed club, not a baiting thread to get people to go and waste petrol trying to be faster than a heavily modded nissan. If anyone wants to go then so be it, but please dont hijack this thread, make a new one in the TLGP forum.
EDIT TO ADD: I see you only have 10 posts so cant access the TLGP forum, maybe you should stick around for a while and learn how people actually communicate here on the forum.

I was so hoping that when i decided to stay out of the tlgp section, that i wouldn't have to read this "my balls are bigger than yours" crap in non-tlgp threads. I'm sorry guys.. I just don't get it. Maybe i am getting too old.
