Introducing Storm

So took me about 2 years to make up my mind. Having three kids and with my mom that go on holiday with us at the end of the year, the 3 series was not cutting it anymore.

I spend a lot of time looking at different options, even considering buying a kombi. A X5 was for long the obvious choice, until I realized the purchase price would require me to sell off one of the kids, and I doubt the wife would have left me sleeping safely at night. I wanted something with the option of a 3rd row seats, fully kitted, and with a lot of plan left.

Introducing my choice. A demo 2015 Dodge Journey 3.6 V6 R/T in Brilliant black. It comes with that 3rd row seat, heated mirrors, heated electric ventilated front seats. Satnav, touch screen multimedia system with U-connect and a reverse camera. Used it daily last week, and must say I the consumption is not bad for a 2ton V6 with 4000km on the clock. Sitting at 12.5l/100km, in peak traffic is not bad. Should see 9 on the open road. I am simply in love with it. Named Storm, after my favorite X-Men character. Its huge, had to reorganize my garage to get it to fit.

while that is true, i find her super power a bit lame.
like the one episode where sabretooth held her up in one hand and was choking her. He would have killed her before she could summon a lightning bolt to electrocute him.

Looks awesome.

That consumption is great if you ask me. A buddy has a 2012-2013 model and he gets around 18-20l /100km to work and back. On the long road, they pull a trailer and he gets 15l/ 100km but stocked up.

does he have the old 2.7 V6? I heard a lot of refinement went in to the 3.6

The claimed figures for the Pentastar is 14.5l/100km in city, and 9.9 highway

Those are the figures I heard as well

Thanks guys

Got it with 4600km on the clock, now on 5127.
This is my consumption this morning when I stopped in front of school. found its better if driven on manual on the free way. I do about 10km on the free way, and 24km robot stop and go traffic daily.

Yes I have a small car that's light on fuel to use daily, but its just such a great drive, and the seats in this cold is awesome.
