Hi my name is Sean (Username: Eightlaps) and i am a big BMW Fan and always will be. My favourite BMW model are the e46 shapes esp the sedan models. These models has aged incredibly well and in fact i take e46 over e90 anyday. You can spend money to make it brand new again and a sporter looker rather than buy a new F30 that cost alot for example. Its just my opinion lol. Ive been a BMW Fan since i was a child at 10 year old when my mother got a e36 316i! Its not about how slow that car was but the way BMW handles like a BMW! Thats what excites me the most. I also forgot to mention im also a big e36 fan esp 328i. In order for a e36 to look new it must have a sport package like the yellow 4 door M3 with amazing spoiler! That car is a looker! My first BMW was a Red e30 318i Special Edition. They only made something like 490 of them. I still have the newspaper that put a article in there. The difference is its got everything like a full house but with 318i model. It got spoiler, sunroof and a scoop on. Nothing gets better than putting your sunglass on and show them off! Lol. I was 20 when i got it since 2008. It got 96k kms on the clock. It was my stepgranfather's sisters husbands car. Very looked after and he didnt want to sell to anybody else except me cos he knew i will look after the car and that i am obviously a big BMW Fan! Fast forward Jan 2012 the car got 154k km on the clock after 3 years of ownning the car with zero problems. Just regular maintenance and replace parts as it should. Parts dont last forever duh! e30 wasnt really my favourite shape but it was a very lekker car to drive. Then i got my dream current BMW a 2004 e46 318i facelift Estrol Blue (favourite colour) Special Edition! The car had 76k kms on the clock since Jan 2012! Can y believe it! Very low for a 8 year old car when i got it. Its my dream machine. My next car will be a e46 again but a 330i! My car was very well cared and one owner aswell. So far its almost 4 year without problems except services maintenance and parts replacements as times goes. Like i said duh! Its got 155k kms on the clock now and its now due for a major services. Now here is my advices i want to ask. A michanic told me radiator need to be replaced as its leaking btwn tank and radiator which is fine. My budget is quite tight at this moment but i really want to get her fixed asap. I wont go to BMW as they will easily ask about R8k just for a replacement. If money wasnt a issue i would take it to bmw everytime. Now this other michanic which is also good ask about R3500 which is still quite high as i need to service my car that will add the price. I finded out here on bmw fanatics forums thst Behr radiators are supposed to cost around R1k which is good news. I asked another michanic that he will ask about R500 to replace it for me. I hope hes not angry as my money is really tight this moment as i dont want to wait longer cos thats just asking for a trouble! I heard Silverton Radiator ask R1600+ for it! The cheapest i found was.at masterparts but brand is Thermocool for R1260. Are they good quality radiators? I find out Behr is the oem for bmw so.i want to stick with good quality parts. Can anybody who would obviously have more knowledge than me advice if there is a good quality radiators that is close to R1k from suppliers in Cape Town area or it can be ordered online and get them shipped? Any help/advice will be much appreciated! Many thanks!:blowheart:

Welcome!
Post some pics of your cars.

I think we have a forum sponsor in Cape Town who does Behr radiators.
