Wow!!!! Those cars are great :thumbs:

Welcome.

For a moment I thought you were in my driveway...mine looks simillar but I had it completely paved out recently. Could not deal with grass maintenance anymore.

Just noticed: The obvious reason for the similarity is because we both live in Brackenfell...good stuff :joy:

Yes the 320d looked great! I had the E90 330i for about a year and loved it, especially the sound!!! but missed the effortless performance of my E46 330d. That's why I bought the E90 330d. Having had 330d's and 330i's in E46 as well as E90 shapes I can honestly say that it's very difficult to choose between which ones I prefer; "d" or "i". In the case of the E46 I definately liked the 330d waaaay more than the 330i, but now with the E90 it's not so easy to decide anymore. The additional 20kw (I had the 190kw 330i) made a world of difference and in the case of the E90 I really cannot decide which one I prefer. The performance are about the same, although delivered in different ways. On the open road the 330d is king with overtaking being a breaze!

But I realy miss the smooth revving and the sound of the 330i. So I don't really have an answer to your question, I just buy what I like at the time, not really a die-hard diesel fan; the 330d just makes sooo much sence with it's perfect blend of performance and economy!

Very nice! The dakar yellow looks JUST like mine :) But mine originates from Vereeniging.

I loved that car!! '98 model. Bought it in 2002 (IIRC) and only had 40000km on the clock with full mplan still!!!! Paid R145 000 for it at Brad Green Cars in Gauteng. Didn't see the car before hand but went on the dealers word as well as phoned the previous owner who apparently pampered the car. Had it transported to Cape Town by truck and must admit the car looked as if it came out of the factory....it was simply immaculate!! I traded it in on the 320d a year later at Paarlberg BMW and they gave me R140 000 for it!!!

(Just a bit of useless info :=):)

Where do you stay? I drove past a 328i Ind just like yours on Saturday in the Kuilsriver/Zevenwacht area. Not many Dakar Yellow 328's around.
