Interior change

Hi i have a E90 sports pack , white with black m-sport mags, my interior is grey , i would like to change this to black , what is the best way of doing this ?

get to a scrap yard, search for a good set and buy the seats, also check gumtree.

+1, safest option. Dying leather is not as easy as it sounds :thumbs:

MD House have tons of leather seats and interior bits so check with them.
Warning - they are pricey though at MD

Dying BMW leather seats is not really a good choice, as the dye on BMW leather sits underneath a protective clear layer. When you re-dye you are just applying this over the protective layer, which will not last.

The dye will eventually start coming off (like shoe polish on a shoe)

So the proper way to do it would be getting the full interior as suggested above :thumbs:

As mentioned above, easiest option is a scrap yard. Gonna be a lot of work. Good luck, and post a DIY thread about the interior upgrade when you get to doing it. Also, if you change the interior trim pieces, let us know how you did it

Would it not be more cost effective/economical to just trade in or sell and buy another car with the interior that you want?:fencelook: Remember if you spend say 10k on changing your interior, it's 10k you will not get back in resale. You'll probably have to replace your seats, door panels, roof lining and maybe interior trim bits which are going to add up.

you can always sell your current interior, to change interior is different then changing the motor, how much will you get, and how much will you buy for, starting a new finance agreement, just for a interior swop can cost much more than just swopping the interior.

well guys , you see here is the situation, i have no intention selling this car any time soon, i still have 4 years of payments to make.After that i will still keep the car for a long time.The seats is not a must,its something i would like to do because it will match with the rest of the car,black mags and white body.for now i will get the black boot spoiler (ill send pics).it looks amazing

makes sense then to plan,save and when a set comes up, you sweep in and buy it.
