Intake silencer

What is this?

My e90 is due for a service and this is one of the parts that needs to be changed.

Can’t seem to find it anywhere besides the agents

Reason i ask, i never heard of this on any of my previous cars

It was in the region of R450 when i called about the price i dint even ask what part is it for.

that more or less what an e90 air filter costs so it could be that... I dont think the air box will cost that little...

I got one from autozone so try them
