Inherited my dad's f10

Hi all, I've inherited my dad's 520d, and I love it. I am not a mechanic at all, but I've thrown myself in the deep end and replaced bits and pieces, recently the EGR valve which was sticking and throwing codes. The car now reports zero DTC failures and runs like a machine.

On the other end, I am a musician and preacher in JHB who does corporate photography and live streaming stuff to make money...

Absolute nerd, love learning, can't wait to slowly refurb "Bertha" as much as possible to get her ready for the next 10 years of travels.

I love it! So much fun and torque for so little at the filling station... and I've driven a 5.3 litre Cobra, so I know its apples and bananas. The 20d is such a nice blend of economy and playfulness.

I wish you the best of luck, but please do understand a F10 is very much a million plus rand car with bills to match and it becomes a very slippery slope as the beast will age and random and expensive shit fails, scrapyards will become your best friends.
